• Congratulations on your wedding 1. I would have no hesitation recommending Domenico to my best friend. I have seen too many wedding albums recently by 'wannabee' photographers who have purchased a fancy digital camera for themselves and use software to enhance their photographs and still dont get it right. I am very particular about the quality of photographs and would much rather pay someone to take traditional photgraphs processed and developed to a high quality. 2. Yes he arrived at the time I asked him to arrive at and left the event when I was happy that he had captured all we needed for our album. He is completely professional. Domenico is a very quiet and gentle man who will say very little on the day. You will quickly forget that he is there. He dressed in a smart dark italian suit with open shirt and is very much at ease with his work as he nimbly moves about the place juggling his many expensive cameras swinging from his shoulders. 3. Any comments from guests were positive. (The ladies found him very attractive!). Any guests who have now seen our wedding album are more than impressed and everyone has said they have never seen such high quality work. 4. He was extremely prompt in delivering our album. One thing I should point out is that Domenico himself picks the photographs for the album and creates this himself. We had the album in our hands approximately 6 weeks after the wedding, which was only 3 weeks after we returned home from honeymoon. He does supply you with books of proofs and negatives for every photo he takes on the day. Some people have asked me would I not rather have chosen the photos for the album. In retrospect Im glad he did it. Domenico is very creative with his work and seldom holds the camera level, many of the photographs in the album are inserted at angles reflecting his creativity. The album is very much his interpretation of the day. If you prefer Im sure he would let you pick the photographs for the album. 5. If you want lots of posed group/family photographs do not use Domenico. We had two family photographs taken to keep our respective parents happy, they are just ok. Domenico's best work is when he is let use his own initiative and creativity. I have met Domenico in person twice. On both occassions he had an assistant, both American ladies I assume working as his apprentice. While Domenico has reativeley poor English his assistant will quickly translate for you on the day. If you know where you are getting married and are familiar with the locality and have ideas as to where you would like photographs taken do not hesitate to tell Domenico this. He will likely suggest locations for you too. When we used Domenico he offered various packages depending on the number of photographs taken and length of time he spends with you on the day. We went for his most expensive package (cant rememeber what it was called). This was great value for money in particular seeing what people have paid for photography in our own country and the quality of their end product. Best regards, Vincent K. (Ireland)
• Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I can't recommend Domenico enough. I went to Italy a few months before my wedding to meet with several photographers and Domenico was the only one who came on time. He took time out to talk to us and make us feel comfortable. He didn't have any samples to show us b/c each album is handmade. I felt comfortable enough with the photos online and meeting with him to book him for our wedding. At our wedding, he came early with an English speaking assistant and after talking to him for a few minutes, I really didn't notice him until after the ceremony when he wanted to take some family photos and the like. He was unimposing and very gracious. A month after our wedding, we received the most beautiful wedding album. It was so much more than I had even hoped for. The album was flawless - I didn't know I could look so good! There were mostly candid shots besides the family photos that I requested - very photojournalistic. He really captured the mood and the beauty of the most wonderful day. I know you must stressed about the whole thing - I know I was - but if you like the natural, capture-the-moment, photojournalistic style, then Domenico is the man for you. I would recommend him to my best friend and everyone else I know. My friends and family all raved about the photos. • We used Domenico for my daughters wedding in July this year. He has a natural flair for capturing natural shots and bringing the wedding to life. I purchased the top package and therefore he was with us for the day taking pictures of my daughter getting ready, through the service and obviously the reception.The album arrived on time, about six weeks after the wedding with a wide variety of additional shots.I would recommend his services. When you meet him he is very quiet and not what you would expect from a photographer although I believe the language barrier played a major part in this.
